Tuesday, August 10, 2010 – Evening in the President’s Shadow Wine Tasting

The wine tasting will be from 7-9 p.m. at the Reagan Memorial Park, 816 S. Hennepin Avenue, next to the Reagan Boyhood Home. Tickets available for $20 from July 1 - Aug. 2 and include a commemorative wine glass and 8 tasting tickets Tickets after Aug. 2 and at the event $25. Only 250 tickets available. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Trolley Rides (start at the Riverfront) / Shuttle Bus at Reagan Historic Sites.
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. -- Jelly Belly Contests/Games/Music on the Riverfront
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. -- Reagan Boyhood Home Tours
10 a.m. Duck Races on the Rock River by the Alzheimer’s Association.
11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Firemen's Water Fights on the Riverfront
3 p.m. – Horse Parade leaves from the Memorial Pool Park, line-up begins at 2 p.m. Arrives downtown around 4 p.m.
5 p.m. – 11 p.m. -- Coverfest at Town Square Center featuring the Johnny and the Beach Bum Band (A
Jimmy Buffett Cover Band), Robbie LeBlanc and a tailgate party featuring food by Pozzy's BBQ. Tickets

Sunday, August 15, 2010 – Annual Ronald Reagan Heritage Bike Ride

Ronald Reagan Heritage Bicycle Ride will start and end in Reagan's hometown of Dixon at Page Park on August 2010. The ride will wind through the Rock River Valley in Lee, Ogle and Whiteside Counties to include Midway Theater, Mt Morris, Oregon, Grand Detour and Daysville.
